Abstract: In general, the main problem in ultrasound images is reduction of noise and problem is
more severe when the noise is multiplicative in nature. In this paper, we present a novel method to
combine different filter using brute force algorithm to enhance the quality of ultra sound image.
This method is divided into two parts i.e. pre processing and brute force algorithm. In pre
processing median filter,fuzzy filter which will evaluate the different characteristics as noisy,
homogeneous, and edge and Savitzky golay method were applied which gives smooth image while
preserving shape and height of the Ultrasound image. Secondly, Savitzky golay filtered image and
fuzzy filtered image were decomposed into different wavelet sub bands using directional dependent
mask and finding out the better threshold value of each band by using brute force algorithm.
Evaluation of the method based on different parameters show that proposed method can improve
the quality of Ultrasound image. Key Terms: Directional dependent mask, non decimated wavelet

I attended the Baylor University Concert Jazz Ensemble directed by Alex Parker on Tuesday,
November 10th. This ensemble consisted of saxes, trombones, trumpets, drums, a piano, and
bass. The concert showcased many individual talents by including solo s or duet s in every song.
The program consisted of seven songs with no intermission. The pieces I selected were Big
Dipper by Thad Jones and Undecided by Frank Mantooth. The composition Big Dipper by Thad
Jones consisted of a duet by Hunter Horby playing the tenor sax and Ryan McArthur playing the
trumpet. The tone of the piece was in major. It had a happy feel to it and made you want to get up
and dance. It was moderato in tempo, meaning it was an average pace of beats. It kicked off with a
quick crescendo from mezzo piano, or medium soft, to forte, or loud. The tenor sax and the trumpet
had the melody and the rest of the instruments were the background musicfor most of the piece
however, the rest of the ensemble had their time to shine with the melody a couple of times. I felt
as if I was in the 1950 s listening to swing music and jazz. The texture felt dancelike and brassy.
Jones incorporated many accents and staccato markings throughout the composition. The song had
many contrasts with pitches and dynamics. Most of the crescendo s and decrescendo s seemed to be

attempting to convey is also repeated numerous times. There is so much going on and being
offered, that I, the viewer, am not sure what Bath Magic Inc. is. Do they fix bathrooms, sell
certain products, or all the above? The website s information is not organized in a way that s
usable and logical to the everyday site visitor. In order to clearly convey what services their
company has to offer, I sought to establish good visual hierarchy in my redesign with the size,
alignment, contrast, and density. In design, size is one important way to draw the audience s

let her go the funeral. Which upsets her greatly. Finally Macey gets Austin to help her find out how
the fire started and who was all responsible. These two end up falling for eachother but don t want
to admit it.
Austin ends up leaving to go back to live with his mother and father. This breaks both of their
hearts, although Austin is happy to go back home. Macey and Austin find out that it wasn t either
