Subject: Dennis Freeman's Outstanding Serena Support
Sir,
I'd like to commend Dennis Freeman for his invaluable contribution to the
successfulrebuild and upgrade of DHSS's Serena host environment in DISA
SATX. When I was informed in early April that this effort had to be
completed within a very short timeframe to comply with DISA and IA security
requirements, Tim Wheeler generously "loaned" Dennis's talents to the
effort. David Allen, DHSS's SBM administrator at the time, reported that
the Serena rebuild could easily have taken twice as long without Dennis's
involvement and exceptional problem-solving ability. Severalother DHSS and
DISA members of the "Serena Tiger Team" have commented as well on Dennis's
outstanding contribution to the success of the project due to his diligence,
skill, professionalism, and remarkably detailed understanding of SBM.
Dennis has also recently provided invaluable assistance to our new SBM
Administrator, Tara Little, as she's undergone "trial by fire" assuming
David's responsibilities after he suddenly resigned last month. Dennis is
truly a valuable asset to DHSS and we're fortunate that he's part of the
JMLFDC team. As the DHSS Program Support CM Section Lead, I'm personally
very appreciative and grateful for Dennis's generous assistance.
Respectfully,
Karen Hass
