This document provides guidance for candidates completing Delta Module Three assignments. It discusses conclusions, formatting requirements, word counts, background reading, referencing, and appendices. Candidates are advised to apply principles from Part 1 in their course proposal conclusions, consider learner benefits, and acknowledge limitations. Assignments must be submitted in Word or PDF format with margins and specific file naming conventions. Word counts cannot exceed 4,500 words or assignments will be penalized or returned unmarked. Background reading, references, and appendices are also addressed.

7. Presentation Assignments should be submitted as two (and no more than two) separate documents in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format with 2.50 margins. If sending a Word document, the document must be sent as a .doc rather than a .docx file. Neil McMahon Delta 3

8. Presentation The first document consists of the main body of the assignment together with the Needs analysis and diagnostic test results, and the course plan. There should be no scanned materials in this document. Neil McMahon Delta 3

12. Presentation Candidates should ensure that the file size does not exceed 10MB. It is especially important that the file containing appendices is not too large as this may cause problems for online uploading and downloading of assignments. Neil McMahon Delta 3

14. General Advice Background reading There should be explicit evidence of background reading in all of the first four sections of the assignment. This will typically include a minimum of five or six sources for each section. Neil McMahon Delta 3

General Advice Word count Candidates should use the ‘word count’ function in ‘Word’ (by highlighting all their text between the end of the contents pages and the start of the bibliography section) to monitor their number of words, and they are advised to note that examiners will automatically check all word counts before marking.
