This document summarizes a study on delayed eruption of anterior maxillary incisor teeth among primary school students in Sana'a, Yemen. The study examined 212 students aged 8-10 years old across two schools. It found that 14.6% of students had delayed tooth eruption. Males had a higher rate of delay at 16.4% compared to 9.5% for females. The most common age for delay was 9 years old, affecting 18% of students. Over half of delays were attributed to both dental and medical causes. The study recommends that parents monitor eruption times closely and address malnutrition as a major cause of delays.

7. DIFFERENCES between the Primary & Permanent teeth
A – size :
1) Primary teeth as smaller in all dimension than permanent
teeth
2) The mesiodistal width of primary incisors is less than their
permanent
3) The thickness of enamel and dentine in primary teeth is
approximately half its thickness in permanent teeth

8. B – coluor :
the colour of primary teeth is bluish white , while that of
permanent teeth ranges from grayish white to yellowish white
C - crown :
the crown of primary teeth are wider in their mesiodistal
diameter in relation to their cervico _occulusal height than
those of permanent teeth.
This given the primary anterior teeth a cupshapped
appearance

29.  That is very Important for parents to realize the eruption
time of teeth and monitoring them and avoid any early or
delayed extraction of teeth .
 Malnutrition (specially in yemen) is the Major causes of
growth failure , subsequently that important to raise
Economic level for people .
 Early detection for eruption problems avoids a lot of
dental complication and money losses . This is achieved
by maintain a regular visits to dentist .

30.  The research talk about delayed eruption of anterior
maxillary incisor on range age between 8 – 10 years
 It covered 212 students of two primary schools .
 We adopted in our diagnosis on clinical feature and
history .
 The result was that there is high percent of delayed
eruption due to improper nutrition which widely
observed .
