•   DJ Hatcha has over 11,000
    fans on Facebook

•   Big audience to tap into

•   Exclusive content will help
    bring fans from his page to
    ours

•   Offering incentives, like new
    music, if users like the page
    will encourage more of his
    fans to sign up
Standing out: Sharing regular engaging content

•   News feeds on Facebook are full of
    clutter

•   We need to stand out

•   Regularly sharing engaging and appealing
    content will help us get noticed

•   This will encourage ‘word of mouth’
    sharing

•   A video diary or exclusive blog from DJ
    Hatcha on what he’s been up to will
    appeal to our audience

•   It will get them talking, commenting and
    liking
Encouraging shares: ‘Branded user content’


•   To help more people find out
    about the competition we
    need our fans friends to notice

•   Facebook and Twitter profile
    pictures are seen by everyone

•   Getting our logo into our fans
    profile pictures could be very
    powerful

•   Creating a Twibon with a cool
    image that links to the
    competition will get us noticed
Creating publicity: Online PR


•   Blogs and music websites are clicks
    away from i-Mego’s Facebook page

•   Coverage online could be extremely
    effective for increasing entrants

•   Inviting bloggers to review the product
    and mention the competition will help
    raise awareness

•   Inviting bloggers (with Facebook pages)
    to enter the contest would also help
    raise awareness directly on Facebook

•   Using DJ Hatcha’s established
    relationships to get mentions from
    other pages would be very helpful
Increasing entrants: Cross channel promotion


•   To help increase the number
    of entrants we should use
    other marketing channels to
    support digital activity

    •   Add links and information
        on the i-Mego website

    •   Print materials

    •   Offline PR

•   Ask staff at i-Mego, suppliers
    and stores to get involved by
    Tweeting and entering on
    Facebook

  • 3. Encouraging likes: Offering exclusive content • DJ Hatcha has over 11,000 fans on Facebook • Big audience to tap into • Exclusive content will help bring fans from his page to ours • Offering incentives, like new music, if users like the page will encourage more of his fans to sign up

Standing out: Sharing regular engaging content • News feeds on Facebook are full of clutter • We need to stand out • Regularly sharing engaging and appealing content will help us get noticed • This will encourage ‘word of mouth’ sharing • A video diary or exclusive blog from DJ Hatcha on what he’s been up to will appeal to our audience • It will get them talking, commenting and liking
  • 5. Encouraging shares: ‘Branded user content’ • To help more people find out about the competition we need our fans friends to notice • Facebook and Twitter profile pictures are seen by everyone • Getting our logo into our fans profile pictures could be very powerful • Creating a Twibon with a cool image that links to the competition will get us noticed
  • 6. Creating publicity: Online PR • Blogs and music websites are clicks away from i-Mego’s Facebook page • Coverage online could be extremely effective for increasing entrants • Inviting bloggers to review the product and mention the competition will help raise awareness • Inviting bloggers (with Facebook pages) to enter the contest would also help raise awareness directly on Facebook • Using DJ Hatcha’s established relationships to get mentions from other pages would be very helpful
  • 7. Increasing entrants: Cross channel promotion • To help increase the number of entrants we should use other marketing channels to support digital activity • Add links and information on the i-Mego website • Print materials • Offline PR • Ask staff at i-Mego, suppliers and stores to get involved by Tweeting and entering on Facebook
