Decisions can be programmed or non-programmed, routine or strategic, tactical or operational, for an organization or personal use, and major or minor and individual or group. Ethical decision making requires keeping promises, honesty, fairness, accountability, informed choices, and consideration of others. The decision making process involves defining problems, setting goals, identifying alternatives, establishing criteria, selecting tools, and checking solutions.
