The RADS (Regulatory Ad-Hoc Data System) application is an operational data store that gathers
data from multiple AT&T systems and loads the data into an Oracle Enterprise Data Warehouse. It is
structured around the ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) concept. The data is used by various
organizations throughout AT&T. Designed and developed the programs that are used by the
application. Responsible for the entire development life cycle of the datafeeds, which includes
analysis of the data, design, coding, testing, implementation, and production support of the datafeed.
Maintain the Java Dataload Application used to transform and load data. Add functionality to the
Dataload Application as needed, based on new source data formats. Provide 24X7 support of the
application. Receive/collect data from various platforms, such as PC’s,midrange servers, and
mainframes. Extensive work with ftp and connectdirect as the methods of transferring the data both
to and from the application. Extensive Oracle experience with 8.1.7, 9i, 10G, and 11G loading the
data via SQLLDR,Java dataloads, and Oracle merges. Experience with DB2Connect used to query
DB2 databases as a part of the extract process. SQLPlus experience, used both to extract data from
various Oracle databases throughout the company and to support RADS. Developed many Oracle
utilities used in troubleshooting and monitoring RADS. Responsible for formatting mainframe
datasets on the UNIXserver and sending them to the mainframes to be used by jobs there. Maintain
ACF2 security for our mainframe ID. Responsible for documenting the application. Hardware
platforms include various Sun platforms running Solaris. Experience loading data into and querying
