The RADS (Regulatory Ad-Hoc Data System) application is an operational data store that gathers
data from multiple AT&T systems and loads the data into an Oracle Enterprise Data Warehouse. It is
structured around the ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) concept. The data is used by various
organizations throughout AT&T. Designed and developed the programs that are used by the
application. Responsible for the entire development life cycle of the datafeeds,which includes
analysis of the data, design, coding, testing, implementation, and production support of the datafeed.
Maintain the Java Dataload Application used to transform and load data. Add functionality to the
Dataload Application as needed,based on new source data formats. Provide 24X7 support of the
application. Receive/collect data from various platforms, such as PC’s,midrange servers,and
mainframes. Extensive work with ftp and connectdirect as the methods of transferring the data both
to and from the application. Extensive Oracle experience with 8.1.7, 9i, 10G, and 11G loading the
data via SQLLDR,Java dataloads, and Oracle merges. Experience with DB2Connect used to query
DB2 databases as a part of the extract process. SQLPlus experience,used both to extract data from
various Oracle databases throughout the company and to support RADS. Developed many Oracle
utilities used in troubleshooting and monitoring RADS. Responsible for formatting mainframe
datasets on the UNIXserver and sending them to the mainframes to be used by jobs there. Maintain
ACF2 security for our mainframe ID. Responsible for documenting the application. Hardware
platforms include various Sun platforms running Solaris. Experience loading data into and querying

Network programming of sockets in Unix C and Visual Basic. Developed a client/server application
in Unix C on a midrange computer and Visual Basic on a PC to capture response time data for
BellSouth. The midrange computer logged into the PC,started the PC monitoring application, and
controlled the PC as it logged in to collect the response time data. The PC sent the data back to the
UNIXmachine, where the data was formatted and provided to the Network organization at
BellSouth.
I developed a cable configuration that allowed our CAMCS application to monitor the UTS operating
system master console through a 3174 controller using an asynchronous emulator adaptor. I
attempted to have this configuration patented, but BellSouth chose not to do so.
3. April 1990 - September 1992. Staff Analyst in CentralOperations Support. Performed UTS system
administration and AMCS system administration. My responsibilities included developing the
nightly schedule, FDR backups, first line of problem resolution, providing operator training for the
data center personnel. Received an Eagle Award for my contribution to the port of COSMOS from
the VAX1170s to the AMDAHL mainframe running the UTS operating system.
April 1988 - March 1990. Analyst. Worked as a UNISYS Tech on third shift. My responsibilities
included backups, recovery,batch processing, job restarts following abends, reboots, and problem
resolution for the FACS application. I was also responsible for the 3B20s and Datakit.
January 1988 - March 1988 Attended Programmers Basic Training. This course involved learning
COBOL and JCL, then writing a program from specs given by the instructors. My program ran
correctly on the first attempt. The maximum attempts in order to pass the course were three.
February 1987 - December 1987. Master Console Operator on third shift in DPC2. My
responsibilities included training operators to operate the LMOS front ends, operating the 3B2s,
3B5s, Datakit, the IBM Master Consoles running MVS, and relieving the tape supervisor when she
was out of the office.
