CAREER SUMMARY
Hercules Offshore- Oct 2014-June 2015 Drilling
Working on the Hercules triumph was something to remember working alongside untrained deck crew I
should them the way of very labour intense and very interesting refitting all Drilling equipment that was
required for this job and all round suggestions from crew as this platform had to be ready for the north sea.
Working as Roughneck roustabout Deckforeman it was a different job everyday for the crew involved
Working on vessels Barges Drilling Jackups And Heavy Lift Barges Started my career as a trainee and took
to the supervisory roles very quickly as a DeckForeman 1200Ton Capacity as a Deck Foreman. I have
Gained a lot from my Experience within Oil and Gas and Marine Industries. I am always keen to learn new
things and to progess in my offshore career. I also have a good heart for others wellbeing aswell as safety.
I am always dedicated to learn as much as possible Due to a lot of my offshore work has been cover work
for holiday relief I would prefer the chance to work on a more stable permanent position,
because of the climate at the time with drilling this rig had to be stacked as there was no longer available
funds to progress further so all crew where in fact made redundant.
WORKFOX
DANISH SECTOR NORTHSEA.Seafox 5 BILFINGER CONTRACT
Heavy Lift Barge July 2nd
2013-October-2014 Deckforeman.
Working on this vessel was very exciting and rewarding on the Dan Tysk Project for monopiles and tps for
the wind farm project for Germany and Denmark. This project was very good and worked very well as a
deckforeman doing 80 monopiles and TPs within the Deadline with a 1200 Ton Capacity Crane. There were
a lot of new things I have took from this project which will help in the future.
NEW CONTRACT.. Maersk Tyra West Production Rig. As Foreman HDA. After some time this project
finished up so I had to look for my next step within my career.
Offshore agency work February 2013 to June 2013

.
Stena Drilling, Stena Spey, Roustabout temporary for 2 weeks.
Ensco, Ensco 71, Roustabout temporary for 1 week
Noble Hans Duel, Romar International, Operator (Swarf Unit) 10 days
.
Rowan Drilling. Roustabout From August 2012 to February 2013
Working for Rowan Drilling as a Roustabout was a very good learning curve as I learned many skills
working on a drilling Jackup in the North Sea many different movements such as sling inspections working
with the cranes back loading vessels slinging pipe across main decks up to the drill floor and also learning
about operations on the drill floor. Moon pool/Sack store/Engine room Etc. I Have also Gained valuable
experience fuelling the helicopters and being a part of the heli deck team.
Bouson.AB FRC Coxswain. From January 2008 to August 2012
Vroon Offshore Services Ltd. (Merchant navy)
I started with Vroon Offshore as a Merchant Navy trainee deckhand working on board supply vessels and
on occasions ERRV Vessels. In my time within the company I have learned many things such as,
Crane operations, cargo operations and working close with the particular installation we are
contracted to cleaning of all areas Bunkering ops stability anchor winching and preparation of foods. I
also partake in daily maintenance of the ship, ensuring everything is in perfect working order. BA
Training and fire training exercises are carried out two times a week. After some time the company
put me forward for my FRC coxswains course, which was great as it was more responsibilities for
myself when the company took over more contracts they merged with the Dutch sector were I joined
two different vessels there to safety coach to take their crew to UK offshore standards which was a
good experience and now they have merged with Vroon Offshore Aberdeen and with new knowledge
and understanding.
This part of my sea going carrer I went from a trainee to Bousun very quickly as I could adapt very quickly.
Baxter’s Ltd. From February 07 to January 08
Forklift Driver and Operative.
Working for Baxter’s Ltd was a good learning opportunity for me. I worked a rotation of 12hrs on 12hrs off
in the batching department where I started. My primary job was to weigh ingredients and put them into 1
ton hopers. After three months of work for the company they gave me the opportunity to operate the
forklifts. I far preferred this role as it was a very different experience to batching, everything was run on a
tight schedule and I preferred the more demanding workload. After one year my time at Baxter’s came to
an end, due to the work being seasonal. I enjoyed my time working there.
