Vajra is a financial product that was upgraded from version 1.0 implemented in 2009 to version 2.0 implemented in 2013. As of the first half of the current year, 52 wards were using Vajra 2.0 while only 3 wards still used the older 1.0 version, with the majority of wards using Vajra 2.0 coming from the 0.50K-1L population group. Vajra 2.0 provides benefits over 1.0 such as being faster, reducing clerical work for workers, having necessary marketplace features, being ahead of competitors, and allowing for GGRR-DSPM updates.
