Why is this form of transdisciplinarity universal and discipline-
independent?
Because the factors that constitute the basis of the methodology
permeate the subject matters of all the disciplines, those of the
sciences and those of the humanities.

The methodology is based on science, is objective, and
relentlessly rigorous.
The generalist mode of transdisciplinarity is dependent for its
knowledge base on the specialist modes of the disciplines.
The transdisciplinarian works with the knowledge that the
disciplines generate.
Because the factors that constitute the basis of the methodology
are preexistent within the subject matters of all the disciplines,
this methodology, that enables transdisciplinarity, is equally
useful within any single discipline.

This is a modern-generalist methodology based on breadth and
depth of understanding, rather than on the now impossible
traditional generalist methodology based on quantity of
knowledge.
Both developing and using the methodology result in the
emergence of a universal-conceptual-model that enables the
integration of the knowledge of all the disciplines into a single
coherent body of knowledge.

The methodology is used for exploration, analysis,
understanding, description, and communication.
The methodology allows the mind to enter into any situation of
whatever novelty or complexity, and to there achieve
understanding of the intrinsic nature of that situation.
In practice, the methodology consistently produces abundant
new knowledge and understanding.

Communication Problem Between the
Disciplines
Why is there a problem?
Because the disciplines do not share a common language.
This has been an enduring barrier to effective communication.
Now there has been a breakthrough.

The basis of a common language has been recognized to be
already present throughout the subject matters of all the
disciplines.
Both developing and using this methodology result in the
emergence of a universal language of transdisciplinarity that
enables effective communication throughout the disciplines.
