Center (GSOC)
The heart of Starhome’s managed service
environment is the Global Services Operations
Center (GSOC). Two centers provide 24/7
worldwide service provisioning, monitoring
and maintenance, and centralized network
management.
Unique to the roaming industry, Starhome’s
GSOC enables operators to outsource the
monitoring of their roaming environment.
Monitoring Services
Starhome offers four levels of monitoring

CDR-O-Meter
Allows the GSOC to monitor each of Starhome’s
services (ICA, GLR, IPN, SMS services and

and counters gathered from different systems

Daily QoS Reports
QoS reports analyze the traffic and activity of
the different VHE, ICA and SMS services. A daily
overview of the service level allows detection of
trends and malfunctions that do not appear in the
CDR-O-Meter and HPOV.

Periodic QoS Reports
Periodic QoS reports are designed to identify
unusual behavior not previously detected by
lower level monitoring, and are reviewed on a
weekly basis by Starhome’s QoS and Revenue
Assurance analysts.
