The purpose of this policy & procedure is to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998
Data Controller
Alex Clapson T/A Talkworks Training & Development Ltd. is the Data Controller under the Data Protection Act & is
responsible for notifying the Information Commissioner of the data it holds, the purpose of its use & renewing its
registration annually.
Policy Statement
Alex Clapson T/A Talkworks Training & Development Ltd. is required to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 in
relation to the processing, handling, storage & disposal of personal data which I obtain from clients. This policy covers
all personal information whether its collected or stored on paper, electronically or any other media.
Any personal information gathered will only be used in the context of relevant lawful purposes & all personal or
sensitive data collected is done so with consent in advance. Alex Clapson T/A Talkworks Training & Development
Ltd. will process all the information obtained to enable me to fulfil my contractual & organisational obligations.
