This document discusses evaluating server performance and power in high-temperature environments. It describes a study where a server system designed for up to 35°C was able to operate at up to 45°C under certain workload conditions. The study aims to determine how servers can support higher temperatures while maintaining power and thermal constraints. It also discusses how characterizing server performance at different temperatures and workloads could allow for more efficient data center provisioning during infrequent high-temperature periods.
