• We use Data Analytics in everyday life without even knowing
it.
• Data analytics process is divided into 6 parts :
• Plan
• Prepare
• Process
• Analyze
• Share
• Act

3.  Real life scenario (going on trip with friends) :
1. Plan :
 We first decide how many of our friends are willing to come.
 How many days we are planning to stay there.
 Which place is good at this time of year.
2. Prepare :
 Next we’ll check for our expenses and transportation.
 We’ll decide on which things we will be packing along with us on trip.

4. 3. Process :
 Now we will choose our transportation method (eg. Train, bus, private vehicle, by
plane).
 We will check out list of accommodations like hotel, dharmashala based on our expense
limit.
4. Analyze :
 We will compare prices, rating from different hotel booking sites like goibibo, yatra,
makemytrip.
 We will also look out for dharmshala with good basic facilities.
 If visiting sites are far then we will check if public transport, rent a car, rent two-
wheelers will be affordable.

5. 5. Share :
 Now we communicate and share our ideas and planning together and also to our
relatives, friends who recently had trip there.
6. Act :
 Finally we will act according to the plan.
In real life scenarios unfavorable events occurs all the time. So we have to again apply
data analytics process according to the scenario.
