setting for this Pt. He continued to improve over the next several days with his peek pressure
climbing to 40. The Pt continues these settings and slowly improves and eventually weaned from
the ventilator till the Pt no longer needs support.
Pt received AP diameter X ray to confirm tube placement and to see if there were any kind of
infiltrates because of possible aspiration and to eliminate possible pneumothorax and pleural
effusion. Findings included mild patchy infiltrates in the right upper to middle lobes. The left lower

The two main independent variables that have to be included in the conceptual model are the
management board and the resources and capabilities of the company. It has been discussed in the
literature that two of the four factors that influence the performance of businesses in their
internationalization process are the management level and the control of resource capacity (Zeng,
Tam, Wan, 2009). A distinction between resources and capabilities must be made: resources are
the productive assets of the firm, while the capabilities are what the firm can do. It is the

and the development of capabilities. Managers will select a set of resources from those available to
the firm that they believe are responsible for achieving their vision of the business, which will

Fight Club (1999) is a film directed by David Fincher based on the Chuck Palahniuk s 1996 novel

opinion, is both a fantastic novel and film. However, this reflection will primarily analyse Fight
Club (1999) the film adaption rather than Fight Club (1996) the novel. Fight Club is subjected to
several different polarising genres throughout its complicated storyline including social commentary
and romance. Within the text, Fight Club comments on absent Father s and suggests that men are
being raised by women and are therefore losing the part of themselves that they find through the
fight club. Arguably, Fight Club is hardly ever referenced as a romance novel, yet the film s plot
revolves around the Narrator s love interest Marla Singer and the confusing love triangle that exists
between them and the Narrator s second identity Tyler. Fight Club, however, ignores most

I am not a very confident person when it comes to dealing with people who I do not know well
(introversion), thus I would have a harder time dealing with situation 2 compared to situation 1. I
have average emotionality in my HEXACO and low sensitivity to criticism from the Self
Evaluation Scales assessment, so I would typically be reasonably receptive to negative feedback.
However, I have low agreeableness, which indicates that I am likely to feel anger in response to
perceived mistreatment.
In this relationship, I, as the employee, would be much more likely to genuinely respect my
boss, thus the power he has over me would be a combination of legitimate power, expert power,
and referent power. Research suggests that these bases of power are most effective and
positively correlate to employee satisfaction (Robbins Judge, 2008). Since he has my respect, I
would believe that he is less affected by bias, and trust that he would put aside his emotions in a
professional environment and treat me fairly. I would therefore seriously take his feedback into
consideration, as I know that he gives feedback in the hope that I would do better next time. I
would also have the courage to explain my point of view of the situation, as I know that my boss

The Ice Bucket Challenge is a nation wide fundraiser to raise money and awareness for people
with ALS. The Ice Bucket Challenge is getting challenged by a friend to dump a bucket of ice
and water over your head. You have twenty four hours to complete the challenge or donate one
hundred dollars to the ALS Association. The Ice Bucket Challenge was started by a former
Boston College baseball captain named Pete Frates. He has ALS and started the challenge on
Twitter. The challenge has taken off and is know across the nation, maybe across the world.
Gleason said, We see thousands of people participating and it s raised more awareness of the
disease that anything in the history of ALS since Lou Gehrig s announcement 75 years ago

The Discussion For This Week Is Group Dynamics
The discussion for this week is Group Dynamics. Webster s dictionary defines group dynamics as
the interacting forces within a small human group; also, the sociological study of these forces. A
well renown change management expert and social psychologist Kurt Lewin. He created the phrase
group dynamics in the mid 1940 s (Moreno,1953) He has written quite a bit about individuals
choosing a distinctive characteristics and conduct when placed in a group. He studied the influence
of the distinctive character and conduct on an individual and on the entire group (Moreno, 1953).
I am sure we have all had experiences during our life, where we were required to work as a
group, or be a part of a group. I am sure we can all share good experiences, as well as horror
stories. I have hired on with different companies over the years, and I could tell early on whether
the team I am assigned to would be a positive experience or negative experience. There are
indicators that stand out clearly. The first thing I usually notice is whether the team is productive,
is there trust amongst the team members, are team member held responsible for their jobs/projects,
and is the team striving for a shared goal.
When a team has negative group dynamics the shared goal is not reached and progress is not made.
The team is not working at the optimum level that a company requires to remain successful and
competitive. Kurt Lewin and other researchers have noted that teams with positive
