Summary

Manager as a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps while serving overseas in Okinawa,
Japan from October 2013 to present. As the Initial Issue Provisioning Officer in Charge, (May 2014 to
May 2015) I managed and distributed principle end items to all III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF)
Units based in Okinawa and Iwakuni, Japan. In totality, I was responsible for issuing over
47,790 principle end items valued at over $1.44 billion dollars. During this tenure, I also facilitated the
distribution of newly fielded assets to said units and was an influence in the overall increase in supply
readiness in the event of the "Fight Tonight" scenario. Recently, I served as the Supply Officer (May 2015
to March 2016) for Marine Air Support Squadron 2 while executing several additional duties. As the Using
Unit Account Manager, I am solely responsible for the assigning and managing roles and
responsibilities for personnel within the Squadron via Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps,
(GCSS - MC) an enterprise wide system that is primarily used for management, repair, and re-supply of
Military Equipment. As the fund manager, I track our annual budget amount and factor in expenses,
contracts, etc in order to maintain the annual budget and forecast future financial requirements. As the
Defense Travel System Authorizing Official, I review and approve/disapprove Temporary Additional
Duty (TAD) trips in order to ensure the unit is in compliance with the Joint Travel Regulations.

Successfully served as the resident expert in Defense Travel System in regards to submitting Authorizations
and Vouchers for reimbursement. More specifically, I was able to reduce the aggregate of Outstanding Travel
Orders from eight to one in the course of one month; resulting in far more legitimacy in the execution of funds.
Assumed duties as the Deployed Support Unit (DSU) Officer in Charge for Exercise Balikatan 2015 whereas I
provided Intermediate Supply Support, to 13 units performing operations in the Philippines. I provided
the aforementioned units with secondary repairable, items known to have a short life expectancy, within a 24-
48 hours’ time frame on average!
Successful execution as the Watch Officer for two Exercises, Unit -Wide Real World Scenario Based Training,
whereas I was responsible for monitoring/reporting operations of five participating units to the higher
headquarters. Additionally, I was responsible for the tracking of BOS-I Capabilities (tents, contracting,
showers, gym, chow hall, water/fuel resupply, etc) in order to forecast future requirements.
