Experience
U.S. Marine Corps Canvassing Recruiter June 01, 2011- December 31, 2014
Managed applicants activities. This includes screening, goal setting, and mentoring applicants during
the enlistment process.
Developed and maintained the strongest pool of recruits in recruiting sub-station, while being
stationed in one the most challenging sub-stations in the district.
Worked with outside, civilian sources to obtain medical and administrative records to process
applicants. Maintained these records and followed proper procedures to secure personally
identifiable information.
Established and maintained relationship with 27 high schools and 4 colleges to positively promote
the U.S. Marine Corps and future recruiting efforts.
Worked with and mentored fully trained Marines on Recruiter’s Assistants.
Implemented all policies and regulations set by the officers and staff non-commissioned officers
over me.
Mentally and physically prepared applicants and enlistees for Marine Corps Recruit Training by
setting goals, expectations, and planning and conducting over 200 Warrior Physical Training
sessions.
Found one of the district’s most qualified NROTC scholarship recipients during 2013.

Maintained a secret security clearance.
Located and identified objectives in order to facilitate the team’s goals.
Trained and assisted junior Marines and new officers in maintaining job proficiency.
Maintained and operated various computer, radio, and weapons systems.
Mentored, monitored, and were responsible for up to 14 Marines.
Scheduled and managed overnight security for 5th Battalion/10th Marines.
Maintained inventory for $250,000 worth of equipment for ten field exercises each year.
Worked to meet health and comfort needs of junior Marines living in the barracks.
