Summary
I have nearly 20 years of experience supporting enablement/training activities for global high tech companies. I have
acted as an individual contributor,building programs,developing and delivering enablement for various internal,
external, sales and technical audiences. Ihave also grown and managed enablementteams and mostrecentlybeen
a Director driving and delivering the strategic vision of Partner Readiness atVMware. My experience gives me a
unique skill setto come up with creative and innovative solutions to the mostchallenging enablementissues.
Results
 SupportRevenue Growth: Continuallyimprove partner enablementto help VMware grow revenue from $1
billion when I started to more than $6.6 billion in 2015. All the while helping to maintain at least 85% of
revenue flowing through partners.
 Vision and Strategy: Developing an overall partner readiness strategythat delivers simple,consistentand
predictable enablementto more than 80,000 partner companies.
 Team Building: Building high performing teams from scratch to deliver on our vision and strategy. Manage
people and budgets.
 Centralize Enablement: BuiltPartner University from scratch in 2009 into a central enablementpointfor all
VMware Partner audiences (sales,tech pre-sales,tech postsales/services,operations). Through Partner
University we are able to simplify, grow and deliver on the following:
o Branded Accreditations and Certifications:Partners have completed 100s ofthousands ofVMware
partner branded (VSP, VTSP, VOP, VCP) accreditations and certifications. In 2015 alone,we had
more than 113,000 completions across all roles.
o Learning Paths: Build and maintain role learning paths across 4 differentroles and 10 different
solution competencies.
o Hands On Labs/Demo: Integrate Hands On Labs and Demo environments into technical learning
paths and Partner University.
o Boot Camps: Develop and deliver a standardized bootcamp program thatcould be delivered at
scale in a face to face format for partners.
o vmLIVE Webcast: Deliver regular weekly interview webcasts (3-5 per week) to between 35-50K
attendees annually.
o Quarterly Launch Briefing: Build and maintain a launch process to provide quick video based
assets on the latestinformation. Posted internallyon Partner University and the Partner channel
on YouTube.
o Large Partner Events: Supported 2 major events each year (Partner Exchange and VMworld) with
an integrated partner content strategy. Included an entire partner track (up to 150+ sessions) and
up to 3 days of preconference bootcamps.
o Localization: Build localization standard to supportconversion oflearning contentinto up to 10
languages.
 Innovative Enablement: Leading the way by staying attuned to the latestinnovations in learning and
enablement. Implemented Gamification in Partner University,Launched the Partner University – Mobile app
and work with our developmentteams on rapid contentdevelopmentto supporting a more agile
environment.
