Statement
I am a passionate about GIS and I
am looking for a position that
will broaden and enrich my
knowledge through new
experiences and where I can
apply the skills I have gained so
far.

Philosophy
I would describe myself as dependable, hardworking and with an
attention for detail. I understand the importance of building
relationships and how to communicate with a variety of people
and can communicate effectively with my coworkers, supervisors
and other team members. I understand the importance of
reviewing work to avoid issues related to missing or conflicting
data, while also trying to improve and maintain information to
achieve efficiency and optimization for other staff.

5. ShortTerm
Goals
I have almost completed my Bachelor of AppliedTechnology Geographic
Information Systems from SAIT, which will be an important asset to apply
for a higher-level GIS position.
Upon completing my degree, because I understand the importance of
acquiring more skills and knowledge, I will be enhancing my
programming language skills, especially when it comes to Python.
I would also like to gain another skill, so I will be looking at completing
courses related to Data Analysis.

6. LongTerm
Goals
Between 5 and 7 years from now, I would like to have the
skills and necessary experience to perform and excel at a
GIS Manager position.
I believe that having the Bachelor of AppliedTechnology
Geographic Information Systems, increasing my knowledge
and gaining experience relating to GIS will help me reach
my long-term goal.
