Dance Club

2. Objective
• Support team-building and
develop appreciation for dance.
• Build character and instil values,
such as respect and self-
discipline.
• Develop good habits through
dance training sessions.
• Encourage participation and
promote enjoyment of Dance.
3. Our Dance Club members train
under a team of accomplished and
experienced dance instructors.
Our dancers learn basic dance
moves and develop skills, such as
balance, coordination, flexibility
and musicality.
4. Our dancers have been participating
in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF)
Arts Presentation (Dance).
Our dancers have consistently
attained the “Accomplishment
Award” at the bi-annual SYF Arts
Presentation since 2012.
5. Our dancers perform during
school events and celebrations
such as Lunar New Year, Speech
Day celebration etc.
Our dancers are actively
involved in community events.
They performed during the
National Day Celebration at
Telok Blangah Community Club
in 2019.
6. On 26 February 2020, our
dancers had their full-dressed
rehearsal at the NUS Cultural
Centre, in preparation for SYF
Art Presentation 2020.
Unfortunately, in view of the
Covid19 situation, the SYF Arts
Festival has been cancelled.
However, the dancers did get to
experience performing on stage
with the professional lighting
and sound systems. It was
indeed an experience that they
will never forget.
