University of California, Berkeley, Project Manager & Team Lead (March 2015 – July 2016)
Organized the effort to implement three new software systems to support admissions in the recruitment,
selection and the release of over 100,000 undergraduate applicant admission decisions.
Key Accomplishments
 Identified and organized a team of 18 Berkeley staff to participate in the implementation effort.
Defined project roles and responsibilities for each team member. Created project plan, tracked and
managed all tasks.
 Successfully managed and executed Berkeley’s first early decision release, as well as several
subsequent releases totaling over 100,000 applicant admissions decisions.
San Francisco State University, Functional Lead (Sept. 2014 – March 2015)
Analyzed the existing processes and structure of the undergraduate admissions office. Successfully
implemented recommended changes from the assessment, improving efficiency and team morale.
Key Accomplishments
 Conducted interviews with over 30 staff members to understand current processes and pain points.
Provided an opportunity for the staff to share their ideas for change and improvement.
 Provided a presentation and written assessment of the admissions office business processes and
organizational structure including recommended changes and next steps. Helped initiate a new
organizational structure to improve productivity and mitigate existing bottlenecks.
California State University Chancellor’s Office, Functional Lead (July 2012 – Sept 2014)
Led the effort to decouple the combined Human Resource and Student Enterprise systems at all 22 CSU
campuses. Organized and managed the effort to consolidate employee and student biographical data for all
CSU campuses into a single constituent data hub.
Key Accomplishments
 Established a data governance model to facilitate discussion and set standards for data ownership
between system-wide HR, campus HR, and cross campus student data.
 Defined the strategy for the automated synchronization of person data between the consolidated
Human Resources system and 22 Student systems. Composed strategy documents outlining
recommendations for all integrations.
San Jose State University, Project Manager (March 2012 – July 2012)
Assisted the Assistant Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer with project management tasks
surrounding the Cisco infrastructure upgrade including classroom tele-presence, VIOP, unified
communications, WebEx, wireless networks and active directory.

Management, Faculty Processing, Absence Management, Labor Cost Distribution, Temp Faculty, Payroll,
Benefits Administration and eRecruit modules.

 Worked with the teams to ensure the test beds were in place in time for all downstream modules.
Provided tools to verify the teams were aware of weekly tasks and deadlines.
 Developed and implemented a strategy for cross module security access. Completed a security

Led and performed all project management duties, including working closely with campus management to
coordinate the consultant schedules and facilitate project logistics.

Managed the PeopleSoft 8.9 Recruiting and Admissions, Campus Community, Student Records, Financial
Aid and Student Financials integration.

 Identified and organized the tasks to integrate the first graduate degree-seeking program into
Campus Solutions.
 Coordinated the configuration, business process design and testing tasks. Created documentation
and conducted training sessions including business process recommendations.

Led the effort to implement Campus Solutions for 23 autonomous admissions offices.
Key Accomplishments
 Created and executed the two-wave strategy and timeline to ensure a successful implementation for
all 23 offices.
 Designed 15 functional modification specifications to confirm configuration would be flexible enough
to meet the needs of all 23 admissions offices. Led weekly working sessions with the wave one
admissions offices guiding them through PeopleSoft 9.0 functionality, configuration and associated
business process decisions.

 Created hundreds of queries for 3C selection processes and quality control standards. Coordinated

EXPERIENCE University of California, Berkeley, Project Manager & Team Lead (March 2015 – July 2016) Organized the effort to implement three new software systems to support admissions in the recruitment, selection and the release of over 100,000 undergraduate applicant admission decisions. Key Accomplishments  Identified and organized a team of 18 Berkeley staff to participate in the implementation effort. Defined project roles and responsibilities for each team member. Created project plan, tracked and managed all tasks.  Successfully managed and executed Berkeley’s first early decision release, as well as several subsequent releases totaling over 100,000 applicant admissions decisions. San Francisco State University, Functional Lead (Sept. 2014 – March 2015) Analyzed the existing processes and structure of the undergraduate admissions office. Successfully implemented recommended changes from the assessment, improving efficiency and team morale. Key Accomplishments  Conducted interviews with over 30 staff members to understand current processes and pain points. Provided an opportunity for the staff to share their ideas for change and improvement.  Provided a presentation and written assessment of the admissions office business processes and organizational structure including recommended changes and next steps. Helped initiate a new organizational structure to improve productivity and mitigate existing bottlenecks. California State University Chancellor’s Office, Functional Lead (July 2012 – Sept 2014) Led the effort to decouple the combined Human Resource and Student Enterprise systems at all 22 CSU campuses. Organized and managed the effort to consolidate employee and student biographical data for all CSU campuses into a single constituent data hub. Key Accomplishments  Established a data governance model to facilitate discussion and set standards for data ownership between system-wide HR, campus HR, and cross campus student data.  Defined the strategy for the automated synchronization of person data between the consolidated Human Resources system and 22 Student systems. Composed strategy documents outlining recommendations for all integrations. San Jose State University, Project Manager (March 2012 – July 2012) Assisted the Assistant Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer with project management tasks surrounding the Cisco infrastructure upgrade including classroom tele-presence, VIOP, unified communications, WebEx, wireless networks and active directory. San Jose State University, Project Manager (June 2011 - March 2012) Managed the PeopleSoft 8.9 to 9.0 Campus Solutions and HCM upgrade for Recruiting and Admissions, Campus Community, Student Records, Student Financials, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Position Management, Faculty Processing, Absence Management, Labor Cost Distribution, Temp Faculty, Payroll, Benefits Administration and eRecruit modules. Key Accomplishments  Worked with the teams to ensure the test beds were in place in time for all downstream modules. Provided tools to verify the teams were aware of weekly tasks and deadlines.  Developed and implemented a strategy for cross module security access. Completed a security analysis to verify all roles and permission lists were tested. California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, Project Manager (June 2011 – Nov. 2011) Led and performed all project management duties, including working closely with campus management to coordinate the consultant schedules and facilitate project logistics. Key Accomplishments  Led campus wide fit/gap session to address the requirements of the continuing education department and the impacts the inclusion of this population in Campus Solutions would have on each module.  Provided a comprehensive cross module matrix outlining the requirements, recommendations, integration points, recommendations and next steps for the continuing education Campus Solutions implementation. California Maritime Academy, Project Manager (Nov. 2010 – March 2011) Managed the PeopleSoft 8.9 Recruiting and Admissions, Campus Community, Student Records, Financial Aid and Student Financials integration. Key Accomplishments  Identified and organized the tasks to integrate the first graduate degree-seeking program into Campus Solutions.  Coordinated the configuration, business process design and testing tasks. Created documentation and conducted training sessions including business process recommendations. New York University, Functional Lead (July 2008 – Nov. 2010) Led the effort to implement Campus Solutions for 23 autonomous admissions offices. Key Accomplishments  Created and executed the two-wave strategy and timeline to ensure a successful implementation for all 23 offices.  Designed 15 functional modification specifications to confirm configuration would be flexible enough to meet the needs of all 23 admissions offices. Led weekly working sessions with the wave one admissions offices guiding them through PeopleSoft 9.0 functionality, configuration and associated business process decisions. The Ohio State University, Functional Specialist (March 2008 – Dec. 2008) Provided support to the Admissions team implementing Campus Solutions. Key Accomplishments  Created hundreds of queries for 3C selection processes and quality control standards. Won the Oracle Titan Award for best Oracle Project Implementation in 2007.
