The markets closed green today. Sensex close up 313.86 gains 1.25% & the Nifty close
up 102.55 gains 1.37%, as investors bought shares in recent outperformers such as
State Bank of India, allowing the broader index to post its best quarterly gain since
January-March 2012. This might be a pre-Budget rally, but that may be capped at
around 7700-7800 on the Nifty because of macro-economic worries. Outperformed
benchmarks with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rising 1.9 % and 1.8 percent.
