2. The markets bleed today. Sensex close down 349.99 falls 1.33% & the Nifty close down
115.80 falls 1.47%, fell for a second consecutive session on Thursday as companies
seen most exposed to the global economy such as Hindalco Industries and Sesa Sterlite
(SESA.NS) declined tracking a downturn in global markets. All sectoral indices closed in
the red. Power, Capital Goods, Oil & Gas, Auto, IT, Bank & Healthcare indices were
down 1-3% while ITC, Gail & Coal India were only gainers today, up around a percent.
