The markets bleed today. Sensex close down 517.97 falls 1.98% & the Nifty close down
163.95 falls 2.11%, marking their biggest single-day fall in over 10 months as a lower-
than-expected railway budget outlay sparked worries about subdued government
expenditure in the budget due on Thursday. BHEL was the worst hit, losing 8 percent.
NTPC, Tata Power and Coal India fell 5 percent each. L&T was down 4 percent. Only
Sun Pharma and HDFC were gainers in the Sensex. Reliance Industries lost 3.2 percent.
