Career Summary
A time served, and qualified engineer. After initial training in production and mechanical
engineering I shifted my focus to the race car industry, culminating with a three year stint with
a Formula 1 race team, as a No1 Mechanic. After a sabbatical from the engineering industry I
returned to a Diesel engine service company for a ten year period. After leaving this
employment I have worked for J.R Mc Dermott as a First Engineer, Deputy E&M Manager,
McDermott E&M-Department Chief Engineer, Construction Equipment Supervisor aboard the
Lay Vessel North Ocean-102, and lately as a Lay Technician aboard the Lay Vessel North
Ocean-105.

· Operate the lay system and associated component
· Assist and support the Lay System Superintendent and Shift Supervisors

lay system comprising carousel, spooling tower compensating arch, tensioner, A&R winch,
and over-boarding device and their respective HPU’s. Other vessel based machinery
maintained included two 900KW generating sets, and a 50T Hydramarine knuckle jib
crane.
