I am responsible for selling a web based information system into medium and large companies within
the North of England. The current system is sold to main decision makers within the Health and
Safety and Environmental market and also to Construction Industry professionals, negotiating with
Civil and structural Engineers, Architects and Construction companies. The system enables the
company to remain compliant with all legislative requirements within these areas.

My responsibilities at DMS were to expand both horizontally and vertically new revenue streams for
the company. Taking the company into new markets within the business-to-business environment.

A key achievement here was to deliver new customers to DMS Ltd with whom I had already a good

Advertising Area Sales Manager April 2000 – January 2002
The Builder Group PLC
Initial responsibility here was to develop and grow a new Magazine within the facilities market in the
North of England. Successfully identifying new streams of advertising revenue within an already
saturated market. The facilities Business grew to Number 4 in a market with over 15 already
established periodicals. After a restructure within the Builder group I then sold display advertising
within their flagship title “Building”.
