PROFILE
I have broad experience of data management, client relationship management, staff development,
stock management and risk management. Experience of working as a Chemotherapy production unit
assistant, teaching assistant and price controller. These experiences exposed me to various
management tasks as well as helped me gain excellent communication, analytical and numerical
skills. A well-presented, confident and hard-working individual with a bachelor’s degree in
Biomedical Science. A self-motivated, natural problem solver and a good team player looking for a
long term career.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Data management: Data management was an essential part of my role as a Unit assistant in ITH
Pharma. As a part of my job, I managed client order data on a day to day basis using a bespoke
business management system. This role also required me to coordinate the preparation of
Chemotherapy products with high level of accuracy within a tight deadline. The teaching
assistant role required me to manage and monitor student progress data. The price controller role
required me to make informed decision about product pricing that had direct impact to the
company’s finance.
Technical: Experience of working within virtual business management and CRM systems.
Advanced level user of Microsoft office, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft outlook. Being a regular
user of the internet, I am able to use it efficiently to solve business problems.
Communication: Various work experiences made me a strong and effective communicator
under pressure. Working for different companies, serving customers and travelling made me feel
confident liaising with peers from diverse backgrounds. The nature of my previous professions
required me to clearly present complex ideas both in reports and in oral presentations at the
highest level.
Language and other skills: Strong leadership skills and time management skills gained from
various roles. Excellent negotiation and commercial awareness gained from unit assistant and
price controller roles. From my travel and work experiences I have learnt to speak, write and read
Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali and Arabic fluently. I also have basic knowledge of French and
Spanish.
CAREER HISTORY
Unit Assistant at ITH Pharma (September 2015 – May 2016): As a unit assistant for the
chemotherapy department I worked closely with the production, release and product preparation
team. Following are the tasks I carried out on a daily basis :
- Managing customer orders and scheduling worksheets for the orders.
- Supporting client queries and building and maintaining client relationships.
- Solving various problems for clients and the business under pressure.
- Managing stock availability and stock rotation.
- Making sure various pharmaceutical standards such as GMP are followed correctly.
- Supporting training and development of other staff members.
- Ensuring all documentation associated with production activities are virtually recorded.
- Supporting the release team with release of the finished products.
- Acting as the first point of contact with clients via telephone/email.
- Dealing professionally with the customer complaints.
- Assisting in environmental monitoring and control.
2. Teaching Assistant at Kumon Study Centre (March 2015 − May 2015): Worked alongside
the teachers to ensure the progress of the students. Job description:
- Managing students’ activities, monitoring progress and marking their assignments.
- Supervising classroom activities and helping the children with their literacy and numeracy
skills.
- Assisting the teacher with one on one teaching sessions.
- Conducting meetings with the parents regarding the student’s progress.
- Working with teachers to come up with innovative ideas for programmes of learning
activities.
Price controller at Sainsbury's (September 2009 – September 2011): While studying at
Woking College, I joined Sainsbury’s as a price controller. Job description:
- Making decisions about product pricing.
- Implementing various pricing strategies.
- Coordinating product rotation and monitoring product expiration.
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with queries about pricing.
- Representing price control department in meetings absence of the duty manager.
- Assisting colleagues in the shop floor and the checkout when required.
- Sharing ideas with the team to solve problems and overcome various difficult tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at Kingston University (September 2011 – July
