Project Brief : CUI Project is put in place to ensure the plant will still be in operation for
another 20 years reliably and meet SMDS long-term production strategy. Project phase cover

the inspection and mitigation work to the related piping and equipment as outline in the
inspection strategy.
Duties and Responsibility;
• Successfully work with civil team to develop the project cost estimation including
the schedule requirement. As a Contract Holder closely work with procurement and
contracting department to develop the contracting strategy with the total contract
value at RM12.4 million. Define the qualification level for the civil including TSA
work with effective bid evaluation and selection. Align with project control team to
ensure budget is sufficient and if an increase to ACV is needed. Manage the PO and
changes, analysis if additional scope/cost occurs.
• Successfully started the online Thermal Sprayed Application (TSA) as part of the
mitigation for CUI Project. Managed stakeholder’s expectation, influent and

as in “like for like” replacement for the fixed fender, splash zone beams, retrieve ladder and oil
pit including the underwater inspection which looked for any abnormalities such as cracking,
the extent of the marine growth, corrosion, dented piles, location of the anode (CP) & etc.
Duties and Responsibility
• Primary responsibility was to ensure proper planning from the beginning of the
contract stage valued at RM6.5 mill until the execution of work including contract &
procurement, cost control and schedule management. Adhered to HSSE standards,

and delivered projects within budget, schedule and quality requirements.
Responsible for HSSE leadership to drive Goal Zero policy.
• Successfully developed the scope of work based on the Civil Fixed Asset Internal
Review (FAIR) in order to develop contract document for Contract and Procurement
purposes.

specifically on the business strategy for shipment schedule which have the direct

Project Brief : The flare gas recovery unit (FGRU) was designed to capture routine blanketing
gases that goes directly to the flare system. The recovered flare gas to be sent back to gas
processing plant as fuel gas or sales gas. The FGRU reduces the continuous flare operation,
which subsequently reduces the associated smoke, thermal radiation, noise and pollutant
emissions associated with flaring.
• The primary responsibility as Civil lead, leading civil design started from front end
development (Assess, Select & Define phases) to detail design and construction
(Execute phase) including procurement, bill of quantities and schedule management.
Adhered to Petronas HSSE standards, and deliver projects within budget, schedule and
