PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Summary:
Joined Everest Re Group in Brussels in January 2006 both as Area Manager for South-Eastern Europe, extended
to Nordics (2010-2012) and Italy/Malta (since 2012), and Specialty Manager for Casualty & Motor business in
Continental Europe. Promoted to status of Director and Member of the strategic Committee for New Business
Development within European entities of Everest Re in 2013. Moved as part of the core team to Everest Re
Zurich (Switzerland) in March 2015.
Prior to joining the group, spent seven years as a reinsurance underwriter at SAFR/Partner Re in Paris (4 years)
and in Zurich (3 years) and then strengthened his international profile as a Senior Member of the Production &
Marketing team of leading brokerage groups in London for four years (Heath Lambert and Willis Re as part of
team moving).
The wide knowledge of the continental European markets, Russia and CIS countries, Arabic-speaking areas
(especially North Africa) has led to contributions to several conferences and publications for EU consulting
(Russia), insurance and reinsurance projects in the region (Kazakhstan, Greece, Romania, Azerbaijan, Serbia).
Expertise also extends to providing all forms of solutions for Clients on their Bond, Property/Catastrophe,
especially Liability/Casualty accounts and Motor structured deals.
Graduated from the three-year Durham Business School MBA programme, studied at the Insurance Institute of
Paris-Sorbonne, and obtained Advanced Degrees in Insurance Law (Paris), in Commercial and Industrial
