I was employed from Alliance Capital on a contract basis responsible for the merger of the
Alliance Capital Management Institutional business with that of newly acquired Sanford C
Bernstein. Reporting to Con Michalakis, I was responsible for merging the companies’ respective
funds, rationalizing the marketing literature of the two firms and reconfiguring it so that it
represented the new brand, AllianceBernstein Institutional Investment Management. This meant
the reformulation of funds and the redevelopment of all marketing brochures, presentations and
new website product literature. The emphasis was on the redevelopment of appropriate
marketing materials that would comply with IMRO regulations, promote the new brand whilst still
maintaining the core attributes of Alliance's growth oriented equity products and Bernstein's value
oriented equity products. I also helped the mutual fund division develop three new value based
mutual funds under the ACM Bernstein name registered funds in Luxembourg.
