If one is to be Educator, one must be a learner, and if
one is to Educate in a democracy, one must live by its
principles, Education is not just a job- it is a way of life.
The objective of Education is not to “shape citizens to
the uses of society, but to produce citizens to shape a
better society”. Every individual should have access to a
type of Education that permits maximum development
of his potential and capabilities. Thus, Education is a
process, the chief goal of which is to bring about
change in the behaviour of the student in the course of
a given period of time.
