University as the first two years of aBachelor's degree so youstart at
the university of yourchoice as aJunior
FromChemeketayoucouldtransferto auniversity with:
Associate of Arts OregonTransfer(AAOT) or
Associate of Science OregonTransfer(ASOT)
InBusiness orComputerScience.
We offermany othercertificate andAssociates degrees forstudents
who do not planto transferto auniversity, as yousawonthe earlierslide.

Tuition-Tuitionistheamountpaidforeachcredithourof enrollment.

astudentmustattendaclassforoneclassroomhour(usually50minutes) perweekforthewholeterm(10week)

FAFSA-FreeApplicationforFederalStudentAid.
Academic Advisor-Thispersonwillhelpyouselectthecorrectcourses,reviewthecourserequirements
inthefieldyouhaveselectedtopursueandhelpyouwithanyacademic problemsyoumayencounter.
Full-TimeEnrollment/Part-TimeEnrollment-Afull-timestudentisenrolledin12ormorecredithoursinaterm.

● Setup a payment plan – you can pay each termin 3 or4 payments
● Financial Aid (FAFSA) – You could qualify forgrants, loans or
workstudy.
● Oregon Promise grant – forcurrent High school graduates.
You must fill out a FAFSA application to find out if you are eligible.
● OtherScholarships
● Chemeketa Scholars (free tuition forqualifying high school grads)
● Chemeketa Foundation Scholarships (hundreds of scholarships)
● OSAC – Oregon Student Aid Commission- hundreds of
scholarships available forOregon residents

Apply for Financial aid
At FAFSA's website
It's easier than you
might think!

14. Go to FAFSA's website to apply forfinancial aid. You will need yourtax info
(and usually yourparent's tax information if yourunder24, clickhere to see exceptions)
Click“start a new FAFSA” to get started.
This will usually take 30-45 minutes.

Come in and take the placement test
We use “Accuplacer” to assess
Reading, Writing, and Math levels for class placement
Placement tests are free the first time.
Our testing center is open for walk-in placement testing
Monday and Thursday 9am – 4pm
Tuesday and Wednesday 1pm – 7pm
All new students are required to take placement tests.
