FADE IN

2. INT. BRIGHT ROOM - DAY.
CASY, a 64 year old veteran, walking anxiously around in a
room and stands by a window. A YOUNGER GIRL enters with a
backpack, panting, closing the door behind her, taking no
notice of CASY.
CASY
(turns around)
ANNA then looks around the room, sees CASY and they make
eye contact. She looks worried, thinks CASY might know her.
CASY (APPROACHES HER)
Excuse me, do I know you from
somewhere?
ANNA, a 16 year old who has just run away from home looks
anxiously at CASY.
ANNA (hesitantly)
I-I . . . no you don’t.
CASY looks at the locket and back at ANNA and gives her the
locket. He is in awe and abruptly leaves the room. ANNA
opens the locket and her eyes widen when she sees the
picture.
