We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

1. Fade in:
We see Anabella walk over to the door and pick up a letter that has come through the door.
ANABELLA (V.O.)
Someone is sending me letters. This someone is an ex of mine, the
problem is, I don’t know which one. There are two.
Cut to Anabella cutting off all contact with her ex’s and screaming at them.
ANABELLA (V.O.)
I took it upon myself to cut off all contact with them. I regret it
now. I wish that I had kept the friendship that we had but I didn’t.
Cuts to Anabella sat in her bedroom on her bed.
ANABELLA (V.O.)
So now I have no way of contacting either and the he whoever he
is, claims to still be head over heels in love with me. So now I’m
stuck and confused and have absolutely no idea what I am going
to do. I have had two letters so far and I have no idea how many
more I am going to get.
She opens the letter again
ANABELLA (V.O.)
I need to know which ex this is. I am so stressed out and I just
want to get to the bottom of this, I want to know who it is. There
are no hints, nothing to tell me who he is. I have no clue, nothing
screams out to me. I need to know. I need to find out.
Anabella puts her head in her hands
2. ANABELLA (V.O.)
Why didn’t he even leave a number? So I could call or text him. I
need to know
Anabella starts to stress out and grabs a pillow and throws it.
ANABELLA (V.O.)
This is so annoying, it keeps playing on my mind.
ANABELLA (V.O.)
Maybe I could try and contact their friends but they might not
even know. Oh this is so confusing.
ANABELLA (V.O.)
I must find out.
