2. What is a cross tab report?
 Displays data in a spreadsheet format, using rows
and columns.
 Every cell contains the results of a calculation of
data.
 Useful for viewing summaries of data.

3. Related Terminologies
• Row Key : The database column that specifies a
row or group of rows in a cross tab report.
Use more than one row key if you want to group the rows.
• Column Key : Database column that specifies what is
is tabulated in the columns of your cross tab report.
Because each cross tab report has a fixed no. of columns,
you choose column keys that have a limited, predictable
number of items in them.

1. Create a group section for each row key in the structure pane.
2. Design the column labels.
3. Add the group labels.
4. Design the row labels.
5. Design the cells.
6. Design a row total.
7. Design column totals.
8. Design any optional features, such as a report title.
