Critical Research Question 4
- 1. ILLUSION – OPENING SEQUENCE MEDIA AS LEVEL CREATIVE CRITICAL RESEARCH QUESTION : How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
- 2. Hardware 1. For video : • Camera • Camera accessories 2. Post production
- 3. Camera The camera we used was Nikon D3300. The lens we used was 18-55mm.
- 4. Camera Accessories • We used a standard 5 feet aluminum tripod. Shot the whole film on it except the panning/moving shots of the film.
- 5. Post Production • The laptop I used for post production; editing was an old Dell inspiron 153521 with core i5. • It was a little slow to work with, but since I edited the entire film on it, it still worked great.
- 6. Software We worked with 2 software. In the beginning we combined the entire film using Adobe Premiere Pro cc 2019. Later, for the rest of the editing I used Filmora 9.
- 7. Pre-production, Post-production and Distribution/ ONLINE METHODS In pre-production I used Google forms to create target audience questionnaires. Even after post production I used Google forms for film feedback surveys. I uploaded my film on YouTube and sent it’s link through Whatsapp, shared it on Instagram and Snapchat as well. Searching for film companies was also done on Google, I also watched a lot of opening sequences of movies on YouTube to understand how it really goes. During shooting, we shared behind the scenes photos of our film on snapchat and instagram.
