I believe that giving is greater than receiving. Being able to live in Johnson County is a blessing.
We have polite neighbors, clean streets, and fresh water. This past spring break I was fortunate
enough to travel to Arlington, Texas, with my youth group from my church. As a group, this
would be our second time traveling to Arlington for a mission purpose. As an individual,
Arlington changed me. When my youth group is traveling a long distance, we rent a couple of

European continent was living in a bad economic and religious situation. America experienced a

A key point in the history of mankind was the Industrial Revolution. It was also a difficult time in
history in terms of suffering, especially for the lower class that had to work twice as hard as the
upper class for minimum wage. A young poet by the name of William Blake became livid and
motivated in the late eighteenth century by the coldhearted usage of young boys for chimney
sweeping. As a result, he created a demonstration in the arrangement of humble poetry Deeper
knowledge of Blake will reveal no darkly buried meaning, only a deeper sense in the meaning

many, the improper use of life support systems to temporary lengthen life, without any
improvement in the quality of life, can be used as a good argument for euthanasia (Australian
Psychological Society n.d.). Medical policy and hospital practice means decisions are already
being made about who qualifies for life support. This implies an already covert practice of
euthanasia (Chaney 2001). Therefore, some form of legalisation would acknowledge an already
existing practice and extend the decision making to the patient also.

Recent studies and polls in Australia seem to show support from both professionals and the general
public for individuals to have the right to choose between euthanasia as an alternative to a life of
