• It is important for the
teacher to become the
student. It is through
proper study that the
teacher is able to provide
accurate information
when teaching the Bible.

• It is important to focus your
message appropriately
depending on the student.
In this step the teacher
learns about the students
and applies what they learn
when they teach.
• The picture chosen
represents focusing on the
students and their needs in
order to focus the lesson to
meet those needs.

4. Structure
• This is where the teacher
learns how to develop a
creative lesson plan when
teaching the Bible.
• The image I chose was
picked because of a
reference made by
Richards and Bredfeldt.
They stated that this was
the “nuts and bolts” of
the book (Kindle, HDX)

5. Teach
• In this step the teacher
will learn how to develop
and present a lesson
appropriately to the age
group that is chosen. The
teacher will learn to
develop principles for
teaching within their
ministry.

represents the time spent
with your student and the
impact that is possible.

6. Evaluate
• In this step the teacher
will learn to evaluate
their own teaching so
they have the opportunity
to improve and grow in
their effectiveness as a
teacher.
