In 7 days, God created the world and everything in it, including the sky, land, sea, plants, animals, and humankind. On each day, God created something new: light and darkness on day 1; the sky on day 2; land and seas on day 3; the sun, moon, and stars on day 4; birds and fish on day 5; animals and humankind on day 6. 2. Day 1 In the beginning there was God. Then God made the world and made night and day with it.

3. Day 2 On the second day God made a dome to divide the water below from the water above. God called the dome sky.

4. Day 3 On day three God made the land too and filled it with trees. Then God made the water. God named the water Sea and the land Earth.

5. Day 4 On day four God made the Moon and the Stars to light up the night and the Sun for the day.

6. Day 5 On the fifth day God made the birds to fill the Sky and the fish to fill the Sea.

7. Day 6 On the sixth day God made Man and Woman in his image and also Animals to live on the Earth. The Man was called Adam and the Woman was called Eve.

8. Day 7 On the last day God rested and blessed the seventh day and let Adam and Eve control the animals.

9. God as creator If God did not create the world we would not be alive. God created everything. He was pleased with what he had made.
