The sessions are designed to bring an external perspective and challenge into the room with the Leadership
        Team. This is achieved through videos of Dame Pat Collarbone sharing her insights and experience into the
LEAD2


        issues relevant to each session, followed by a structured discussion and importantly action planning. These
        sessions can be facilitated by a member of the leadership team or by an external facilitator.
        Lead2 can be run within a single organisation or with leaders from a number of organisations, for example a
        cluster of schools, a collaborative enterprise or partnership, in order to develop a shared understanding of
        how to work together to lead change.


        What will you achieve?
        Through these three challenge sessions, you will establish the leadership focus that is required to develop
        and deliver your strategy. The Leadership Team will better understand how to work together as a team and
        with others to deliver services in the most effective way.

        • Provides the opportunity to share the experience, insights and perspective of a leading thinker on change
          in the public sector.
        • Provides a simple and effective format to provoke innovative thinking; to help leaders solve today’s
          problems in the context of future challenges.
        • Ensures that leaders understand the key issues they need to address in order bring about changes in the
          way people work and, to maintain the engagement and performance of their people at a time of
          unprecedented change and turbulence.


        What will you have at the end?
        By the end of the 3 sessions you will have:
        • An analysis of the challenges you face and the impact on your organisation and its core purpose.
        • Identified the key leadership skills that are required to succeed in this environment.
        • Undertaken a gap analysis for the leadership team and created a plan for how relative strengths and
          leadership styles will be used and supported.
        • Created a plan for the development, growth and engagement of your people.
