Retina ļƒ optic nerve ļƒ optic chiasma ļƒ  optic tract ļƒ lat geniculate body ļƒ optic radiation ļƒ  visual area of occipital lobe
ļ½ Primary function: motor (eye movements) ļ½ Origin: mesencephalon ļ½ Pass through: superior orbital fissure ļ½ Destination: ā—¦ Somatic motor : superior, inferior and medial rectus, inferior oblique, and levator palpebrae superioris muscle. ā—¦ Visceral motor: intrinsic eye muscles
ļ½ GSE: extra ocular muscles ļ½ GVE: intra ocular muscles for contraction of pupil and accomodation ļ½ GSA: extra ocular muscles
ā€¢PTOSIS ā€¢LATERAL SQUINT ā€¢PUPILLARY DILATATION ā€¢LOSS OF ACCOMODATION ā€¢DIPLOPIA
