diverse Membership by utilizing prior experience with business development initiatives. During year 1 & 2 we successfully
achieved 8% Membership growth with a 90% retention rate. This growth has continued consistently by the creative
implementation of effective programs.
Key programs have been strong political advocacy and successes with lobbying efforts to save key state tax
incentives for business.
Developed strong relationships with key Government officials at the City, County, State and Federal levels.
Developed strong collaborative relationships with local Television & Radio stations to promote not only business
but advocacy issues as well.
Created SCV Leadership Council, a group of all local business associations, to strengthen the areas business voice
to community leaders.
Successfully managed and negotiated the merger of two smaller Chambers into the SCV Chamber of Commerce

Successfully Negotiated with City National Bank $1.5M in equipment leases for Startup Company.
Tracked business trends and successfully downsized staff to save the company $500k in annual salaries over 2

During the same downsizing, also renegotiated the building lease to save $60k per year.
