Direct responsibility for the design, development, product reliability, and production release of state-of-the-art
mechanical and electronic diesel fuel injection pumps and systems. Manage a $4 million annual budget and
supervise up to 25 technical people.
Expertise in managing the development of products from the proof of concept stage through high volume series
production release.
Developed a family of next generation High Pressure Common Rail Supply Pumps using submicron level
tolerances, state of the art materials, heat treats, finite element analysis, hydraulic modeling, and coatings. The new
product line has achieved world class pressure capabilities in excess of 2500 bar with class leading reliability and
tolerance of severe low lubricity fuels. These achievements were accomplished with a smaller package size, lower
parts count, less demanding manufacturing processes and with an overall lower cost than competitive products.
