am
currently
in
a
search

a
CF

in
speech-­‐language
pathology.
I
recently
graduated
from
the
Univeristy
of
Puerto
Rico,
Medical
Sciences
Campus.
I
have
one
year
of
clinical
experience
in
various
settings.
I
participated
on
a
summer
internship
in
the
state
of
New
York
where
I
worked
in
early
intervention
with
infants
from
2;0
to
4;0
years
old
at
preschool
level.
In
this
time
I
offered
group
and
individual
therapy,
working
with
speech
and
language
disorders
such
as
SLI,
articulation
problems,
phonological
problems,
as
well
integrated
therapies
with
the
disciplines
of
physical
and
occupational
therapy.
During
my
year
of
clinical
practice
I
worked
with
high-­‐quality
professionals
certified
by
the
American
Speech
and
Hearing
Assosiacition.
I
worked
in
private
clinics,
also
providing
services
to
the
public
education
system,
rehabilitation
hospitals
and
home
cares.
In
these
centers
I
had
the
opportunity
to
evaluate,
diagnose
and
treat
the
following
disorders
that
affects
speech
and
language:
articulation
problems,
apraxia,
dysarthria,
swallowed
disorders
(using
assesings
tools
such
as
MBS
and
FEES),
autism,
cerebral
palsy,
phonological
problems,
all
types
of
aphasia,
memory,
attention
and
other
cognitive
disabilities
that
affect
the
ability
to
speak.

the

for
which
I
am
trained
and
qualified
to
administer
and
interpret
are
the

,
Expressive
One
Word
,
The
Peabody
Picture
Vocabulary

,

the

Scale.
