This document provides an evaluation of media products created to promote a new movie, including a teaser trailer, film poster, and website. The evaluation analyzes how well the products incorporated industry codes and conventions. Feedback from questionnaires and a focus group is also discussed. Key areas for improvement included using a vocal narrative in the trailer instead of text, including more close-up shots in the trailer, improving lighting and props in shots, and making the website more interactive. The evaluation concludes that re-filming the trailer could make the horror and sci-fi genres more evident through additional intense scenes.
