• Ottawa has burned over 3.5 million liters of fuel
– Enough to fill a car for each of Ottawa’s 230 sailors 250 times (or once a week for 5 years).
• Ottawa has used approximately 2,300 Gigabytes of text messages, pictures, phone calls and
websites over IS2S
– That would be enough to fill 3,300 CD-ROMs
• Ottawa has sailed 58,600 Km
– It is only 40,000km around the world
• Although we cannot turn water into wine, we have turned 2.1 million litres of seawater into
drinking water using our reverse osmosis plants
– Enough for 68L of water per person per day since we left Esquimalt in December
• 2,000kg of bacon (2 metric tonnes)
• 6,700 litres of milk consumed
• Over 60,300 Eggs have been consumed
– 450 eggs per day

• Dress warm - it's colder than you think on the
jetty
• Bring strollers for the smaller children

will be on the jetty
