2. Fun facts about our journey so far
• Total nautical miles steamed: 37,700 (or 12.7 trips across Canada)
• Diesel Fuel used: 4,796,400 Litres
• Days deployed so far: 155 (OR 22 weeks)
o 92 of those days were spent in support of Operation PROJECTION
o 32 days on Operation NEON
• 7 International Exercises: RIMPAC 22, Pacific DRAGON, Pacific
VANGUARD, ROKN Bilateral Exercise, JMSDF International Fleet
Review, International SAREX, and Keen Sword 22 – This is in
addition to Operations Noble Raven, Noble Wolverine, and Noble
• Nations operated with: 15 (U.S., Chile, Peru, Australia, New Zealand,
Japan, Republic of Korea, France, UK, Thailand, Malaysia, India,
Pakistan, Singapore, and Brunei) (+25 at RIMPAC)
• Replenishments-at-Sea: Anticipating 22 by the time of this brief
• Countries visited: 5 (U.S., Guam, Philippines, Japan, Korea)
• CANUCK has flown 160 hours during PROJECTION/NEON (250
hours total) Which includes: 53 successful Proficiency Exercises
o 5 Anti-Submarine Warfare Exercises (with Japan and US) and 2 Gun
Exercises
• CANUCK has conducted 4 cross deck landings on JS Izumo, JS
Takanami, USS Ronal Reagan, and CNS Almirante Lynch
• VAN has landed aircraft from the U.S., Chile, and Japan
