2. Aman I Luxury Day Cruises
Aman I, our luxury 60ft Bluewater motor cruise, depart
everyday from our northern marina base and directed to
Phang Nha Bay, Phuket most dramatic destination, taking the
guest through the wonders of the limestone island-studded
bay.
Our minibus departs daily from the resort lobby at 09:30am for
the 30-minute transfer to marina. From there the islands of
Phang Nga are reached in 50 minutes of calm-water cruising.

Sealion Experience

Maha Bhetra Dinner Cruise
A marvelous dinner and private jaunt can be enjoyed aboard
our famous 90ft wooden motor cruiser, recently featured in
Architectural Digest. Board Maha Bhetra at the Yacht Haven
and cruise to a nearby island in the Phak Phra channel for a
magnificent Thai dinner. After the feast, cruise leisurely back to

Maha Bhetra is a 90ft of pure luxury designed for extended
cruising in Andaman Sea. This displacement vessel is a classic
southern Thai wooden motor yacht featuring three palatial
double cabins with lavish en-suites. The top deck is an opensided Thai-style living sala similar to those of the Amanpuri
Villas. Maha Bhetra is simply Amanpuri afloat, suitable for one

4. CHOM TAWAN 2 an Italian-built Azimut 50 is perfect for
entertaining, Offering a large sun-bed on the foredeck and
ample lounge areas on the flybridge, it is very easy to find
your own place in the sun or shade for the day.

6. Fast Private Charter Vessels
The following vessels are not air-conditioned and are the perfect choice for those wishing to venture further
afield on faster vessels.
Blowfish is a versatile 38ft multi-purpose speed boat. With
plenty of shade below, this twin 225hp Suzuki 4-stroke
outboard-powered vessel can carry 14 passengers at speeds
over 30 knots. It is ideal for a day of fishing, diving or snorkeling
and for getting to destinations further away. Blowfish is fully
equipped for light game fishing and snorkeling. The Similan
Islands are only 2 hours from the resort bay on Blowfish.

Aman V is our 29ft fiberglass outboard-powered multi-purpose
centre-console speed boat. A perfect six-passenger coveredseating platform, it’s powered by twin 200HP Yamaha engines
and has a cruising speed of over 25 knots. Aman V is
permanently moored at Phuket’s eastern marina, a 25-minute
drive from Amanpuri. Phang Nga Bay excursions and Koh Kai
Nok snorkel safaris are 45 minutes from the marina. A full day
cruise which incorporates both famous destinations is
recommended. Bring along a hat, sunscreen and a sense of
adventure. Ideally suited for calm-water coastal cruising only.

7. Scuba-diving
Amanpuri’s preferred dive operator, H2O Sportz, is a PADI five star training facility. They specialize in resort
diving programs for both experienced divers and newcomers to the sport. The introductory course is a quick,
safe way to experience the thrill of scuba-diving in one day. The course consists of a brief introduction to the
equipment, followed by a pool session where you will be introduced to some basic skills. In the afternoon, you
will be diving with your instructor on one of the many dive trips available.
H2O Sportz offers the PADI Open Water Diver, Adventure Diver, Specialty Diver, Rescue Diver, Enriched Air
Diver and Bubble Maker courses. There are daily trips to the best local destinations for experienced divers. Full
gear and private dive boats are available.
Regular scuba Diving Tips
Our custom-built dive boats depart daily to the best sites around Phuket. We alternate our local destinations
between Shark Point, Koh Dok Mai, Anemone Reef, Sea King Wreck, Koh Kai Nok and Koh Racha Yai. Our joinin dive excursions depart at either 8:15am or at 11:40am, depending on the best dive conditions available
each day. Tidal movements, currents, visibility and prevailing weather conditions dictate the best departure
times each day. We ensure diving at the best possible time of day for each destination. Minimum numbers
apply for all dive excursions, so advance booking is essential.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is an ideal, safe introduction to scuba-diving. The program consists of
a brief introduction to the equipment followed by a pool session where you will learn basic diving skills. The
program takes one and a half hours to complete, after which you will feel confident and eager to explore the
coral reefs with your instructor. If you have always wanted to try scuba-diving but have never found the time,
the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is for you.

8. PADI Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Diver certification program is your passport to an exciting new world. The program will
teach you the skills to safely and comfortably explore the underwater world. The program can be completed
over a period of four days and consists of classroom sessions, which cover topics such as scuba equipment,
safety procedures, marine environment and dive planning. Diving skills are introduced in the familiar surrounds
of a swimming pool, where you will gain confidence in using scuba-diving equipment. After your pool training,
you will be ready for your open water training dives, which are conducted over two days on our daily dive
trips.

are practiced with a further choice of naturalist, wreck or multi-level dives on offer. We join with the dive trips
available and, with no formal tests, this is an easy and fun way to become a far more proficient diver.

Plabin Fleet
H20 Sportz has built a fleet of 32ft and 38ft custom-built vessels exclusively for dive and snorkel cruises.
Amanpuri guests can join smaller groups of divers for daily dive and snorkel safaris to Shark Point, Koh Dok Mai,
the King Cruiser Wreck and Koh Waeo all year round. Excursions to the Similan Islands (two hours fast cruising)
can be arranged only when weather conditions permit. Minimum numbers apply on all joining dive trips.
