Series compensation is installed in power system networks to increase power transfer capacity, improve the system stability, reduce system losses, improve voltage regulation and for achieving flexible power flow control. Distance relays are widely used as main or backup protection of transmission lines including series-compensated transmission lines. The performance of conventional distance relays is affected by series capacitors and cause certain protection issues. This paper briefly discusses the problems like voltage inversion, current inversion, overreach and under reach during the fault conditions specific to series compensated lines. The behavior of capacitor protection techniques is discussed with simulations performed using Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) simulator for a typical 400 kV system having series compensation. The analysis is based on Transmission Line fault simulations, internal and external to the 400-transmission line where the Fixed Series Compensation (FSC)is installed.

Flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) technologies are wildly used in the high voltage and extra-high voltage AC transmission systems to control the power flow. The existence of FACTS devices in the transmission lines makes a misoperation of the traditional distance relay. In this paper, a new special pilot distance protection scheme is presented for any compensated transmission line. This scheme is valid for any type of FACTS device (shunt, series, and compound) and different operation points (capacitive mode or inductive mode). The proposed scheme is modeled and tested in MATLAB 2020a/Simulink. The model includes a fault detection algorithm, phase selection, measured impedance, and five zones mho characteristic. The proposed scheme includes two additional reversed zones with the three traditional zones. The model is verified under deferent fault scenarios, including single-line to ground faults, double-line faults, double-line to ground faults, and three-phase faults. The results show the model robustness for different FACTS devices, including Static synchronous compensator (STATCOM), static synchronous series compensator (SSSC), and unified power flow controller (UPFC) as examples on the shunt, series, and compound FACTS devices respectively. All results show that the relay operates correctly under different FACTD device locations, different types of faults, different types of FACTS devices, and different operation points.

This paper concentrates on modeling and simulation of single phase inverter as a frequency changer modulated by sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation PWM technique. An inverter is a circuit that converts DC sources to AC sources. To judge the quality of voltage produced by a PWM inverter, a detailed harmonic analysis of the voltage waveform is done. Pulse width modulated PWM inverters are among the most used power-electronic circuits in practical applications. These inverters are capable of producing ac voltages of variable magnitude as well as variable frequency with less harmonic distortion. The model is executed utilizing MATLAB Simulink software with the SimPower System Block Set using PC simulation. MATLAB Simulink is a successful instrument to examine a PWM inverter. Major reasons for using MATLAB are Faster reaction, accessibility of different simulation devices and the nonappearance of joining issues. In this paper, Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor IGBT is used as switching power device. IGBT is ideal since it high switching speed and also high input impedance. Abstract:
This paper proposes a system to differentiate between human-generated and AI-generated texts using stylometric analysis. The system analyzes text files and classifies writing styles by employing various clustering algorithms, such as k-means, k-means++, hierarchical, and DBSCAN. The effectiveness of these algorithms is measured using silhouette scores. The system successfully identifies distinct writing styles within documents, demonstrating its potential for plagiarism detection.
Introduction:
Stylometry, the study of linguistic and structural features in texts, is used for tasks like plagiarism detection, genre separation, and author verification. This paper leverages stylometric analysis to identify different writing styles and improve plagiarism detection methods.
Methodology:
The system includes data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, dimensional reduction, machine learning models for clustering, and performance comparison using silhouette scores. Feature extraction focuses on lexical features, vocabulary richness, and readability scores. The study uses a small dataset of texts from various authors and employs algorithms like k-means, k-means++, hierarchical clustering, and DBSCAN for clustering.
Results:
Experiments show that the system effectively identifies writing styles, with silhouette scores indicating reasonable to strong clustering when k=2. As the number of clusters increases, the silhouette scores decrease, indicating a drop in accuracy. K-means and k-means++ perform similarly, while hierarchical clustering is less optimized.
Conclusion and Future Work:
The system works well for distinguishing writing styles with two clusters but becomes less accurate as the number of clusters increases. Future research could focus on adding more parameters and optimizing the methodology to improve accuracy with higher cluster values. This system can enhance existing plagiarism detection tools, especially in academic settings.

For Load flow consider the Positive Tolerance on impedance – Do not neglect as this will cost in
case of a Solar PV plant in the range of >50 MW due to quite high number of Inverter Transformers.
For Short Circuit consider the Negative Tolerance on impedance – Do not neglect as this will
impact the short circuit level specially in PV plant RMU and LV level.
Match the Transformer Active Power loss from Transformer Test reports and not from data sheet
– It impacts !!!!!
Generally everybody does not focus on Transformer Reactive Power loss matching – This has
huge implication for a Solar PV plant !!!!!
Do not forget to Verify the Transformer Regulation as per test report or Data sheet. Usually
nobody checks this one through simulation. This is one of the best check points in a simulation
software.

neglected by many users and this may cost in Harmonic and other phenomenon involving the SLG
