1. GSM, SIP & ANALOGUE
Combines great physical strength with innate intelligence.
This combination gives the service operator the peace of mind that their telephone service will be
continuously available to their customers twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
The phone is ideally suited to those environments requiring a courtesy or emergency telephone and being
used by a wide variety of customers for use in a less than benign environment. Phone is strong,
weatherproof, hygienic, easy to clean and a stylish addition to any public area, reception, workshop,
office, etc.
INTELLIGENCE
IT REPORTS WHAT IS HAPPENING...
The phone is designed for use in semi-supervised and unsupervised sites. phone is provided with
intelligent remote reporting and programming capabilities to give assurance to the service operator that
the Geronimo telephones are in continuous working order and therefore constantly available for the
customers.
REPORTING
Remote reporting is provided to allow supervision of a network of telephones. Reports can be gathered on
very low cost management equipment with more sophisticated management systems available as the
needs of the operator grow. (For further information please contact us).
Reporting capability includes:
"I'm OK"
Phone can generate regular remote reporting to inform the service operator that it is in good working
order, connected to its working telephone line and is available for customer call making. For remote sites
this is an invaluable way of making sure that Phone will be available, when needed, for making that vital
emergency call.
FAULT REPORTS
Phone is a very reliable telephone but like any unsupervised telephone can be subject to attacks and
vandalism thus affecting its ability to provide telephone service. It is important for the service operator to
know about any attacks as soon as they occur and be able to dispatch an engineer with the right
replacement parts, thus ensuring that the customer service is restored as quickly as possible, or even
before a fault was realised.
Phone can detect the most common hardware faults resulting from vandalism and report these to the
service operator. These include:
Stolen or broken handset or extended "off hook",
 Jammed or glued keys,
 etc.
MANAGEMENT REPORTING SYSTEM
Phone will report daily to a remote management system signalling failures or vandalism. Reporting is
done by SMS messaging or email (see example of a report below). The engineer is then able to respond
rapidly to a fault report, enabling him to carry the right spares to restore Phone and with the end user
not necessarily knowing there had been a fault in the first place.
When Phone Analogue or SIP is used in conjunction with the optional built-in IP camera, high quality
images (in real time) can be sent to the remote management system or a named recipient of users or
vandals.

STRENGTH
IP65 RATED
Phone combines a high strength steel case with a durable stainless steel face plate. The surfaces are
mark resistant and virtually immune to rust, discolouration or corrosion. Phone can be securely mounted:
on a wall, fixed to a support post, fitted in a booth or housing.
The keys on the keypad are metal die-cast with black "engrave and fill" lettering. The lettering will not be
removed by either repeated customer use, or deliberate attack and vandalism.
For impact resistance and durability the ergonomically designed handset is moulded in an engineering
plastic. It is connected to the telephone through an armoured steel cable with a swivel elbow joint at the
case to allow free movement of the handset and cable. The handset sits in a cast; marine quality chromed
steel rest which will resist deliberate or accidental damage from even the most aggressive of telephone
users.
WE DON'T SEE OUR WORLD IN BLACK AND WHITE...
Phone can be used in many locations and for many reasons and for this reason have produced their
range of Geronimo telephones in colours called 'Moods'. 'Moods' are associated with many of the more
popular applications or environments where Phone is likely to be located. The following are just a few
examples:
Chrome – this has been chosen as the primary finish for Phone. It is stylish, robust and up to the
moment appeal means Phone Chrome will be deployed in a vast array of different environments, i.e.
hotels, garages, etc.
Yellow – this 'mood' has been chosen for organisations that require phone to be immediately identified as
a heavy duty telephone. Yellow is often used in the UK with the colour orange being more commonly
chosen overseas.
Emergency Red – is for use where phone needs to be specifically identified as an emergency telephone.
Green – is for use in environmental places such as golf courses, parks, wind farms, forests, etc., where
Geronimo can live in harmony with its surroundings.
With the exception of phone Chrome, Phone ‘Moods’ are powder coated in the colour of your choice;
however there are minimum quantities required for these special ‘mood’ shades and the team, will be
delighted to confirm the order quantities involved.

3. FLEXIBILITY
YOU CAN USE IT WHERE YOUR IMAGINATION TAKES YOU...
GSM
For the quickest and most convenient connection, Phone is available with a GSM option. Phone can be
put into service in an instant without the need to wait for an engineer to install a line, or a network socket.
Simply mount Phone on a wall or post and plug GSM Phone into a nearby mains outlet and it is
immediately available for use.
For sites where it might be difficult or expensive to provide conventional cabling, or where you want to
avoid line installation charges, GSM Phone is the obvious means of connection.
For remote or temporary sites such as building construction works, offices, exhibitions and shows, GSM
Phone is the obvious communications solution. When it is powered by a small solar panel it provides
connectivity without the need for mains or telephone cable.
ANALOGUE
Phone can be connected to a direct exchange line or as an analogue extension to a Private Branch
Exchange. Phone built-in call barring will ensure that only the calls which you want the user to make will
be connected with all other calls being prevented.
SIP
For connections to IP networks the SIP Phone can connect to an IP PBX or an Internet Telephony Service
Provider using your LAN (Local Area Network).
SIP Phone connects to standard CAT 5 or CAT 6 network cabling and when programmed for connection
to an Internet Telephony Service Provider can provide FREE telephone calling over the internet.
PROGRAMMING
CHANGE ANY CONFIGURATION YOU WANT FROM YOUR DESK
Phone programming can be carried out on-site or prior to shipping the telephone. All program settings
are retained in non-volatile memory.
Phone can also be programmed remotely by the management system. If a telephone number needs to be
changed there is no need for an expensive and time consuming on-site visit by an engineer. Any of the
programmed numbers or call barring parameters can be changed and updated during a regular reporting
call.
The installer can choose whether Phone operates as:
• A single number dialling telephone
• A four number dialling telephone
• A full keypad telephone (with or without call barring).
The programming capability cannot be accessed by vandals or mischief makers.
Where full keypad operation is offered this can be restricted to particular number ranges, for example:
ensuring that a customer can ring a hotel room or office extension but cannot access the public telephone
network. However, in trusted staff environments unrestricted access can be provided.
In addition, three PIN protected supervisor stores are provided. These allow the automatic dialling of a
particular telephone number after a PIN number has been entered. These supervisor stores will allow
security staff to "call in" to a particular telephone number.

4. MONITORING
PHONE IS WATCHING YOU
To provide the ultimate enhancement for your security and courtesy applications Phone can be supplied
with a built-in network camera, it can be remotely programmed, and at anytime you can monitor the state
of its health.
The camera will allow you to remotely view and monitor your callers from any PC running a Web Browser.
Check your callers' identity before admitting them to your office or home. Take a snapshot image of your
callers, or record moving video images onto your local PC and have these images emailed immediately to
your security or monitoring company.
When Phone Analogue or SIP is used in conjunction with the optional built-in IP camera, high quality
images (in real time) can be sent to the remote management system or a named recipient of users or
vandals.
